ID@Xbox Indie showcase set for October 28: New games, trailers, and Game Pass surprises await

The ID@Xbox Indie Showcase, in partnership with IGN, is set for October 28, 2025, featuring a 50-minute livestream of exclusive trailers, gameplay reveals, and first looks at upcoming indie titles. The showcase will stream across IGN’s platforms and Pure Xbox, offering a comprehensive look at diverse indie games across multiple genres.

Xbox fans and indie game lovers have plenty to look forward to this month. Microsoft’s ID@Xbox, in collaboration with IGN, has announced a brand-new Indie Showcase scheduled for October 28, 2025. The 50-minute digital event will spotlight a wide selection of upcoming titles from independent developers and publishers, featuring exclusive trailers, gameplay reveals, first looks, and possibly even some DLC announcements.

 Streaming live across IGN’s YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and X (Twitter) channels, the showcase begins at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. Pure Xbox will also host the broadcast and share major highlights after the event. Though Xbox has not confirmed any Game Pass reveals, past showcases have often delivered surprise additions to the service, keeping anticipation high.

Among the developers participating, Thunder Lotus, creators of Spiritfarer and 33 Immortals, is expected to share more about its next project, At Fate’s End, a fantasy adventure following two sisters in a mystical world. Serenity Forge, known for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! and Slay the Princess, may showcase updates for its upcoming horror-farming hybrid, Fractured Blooms, or announce a new console release. Don’t Nod, the studio behind Life is Strange and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, is also on the lineup with new content.

Meanwhile, Poncle—the studio behind the hit Vampire Survivors—could debut its long-awaited online co-op update, rumored for release later this fall. Pathea Games, developers of My Time at Portia, might reveal details or a release date for its next life-sim title, My Time at Evershine.

Other confirmed partners include PlaySide, Hooded Horse, Thunderful, Skybound, Raw Fury, Cult Games, and Wired Digital—promising a showcase packed with creativity, surprises, and plenty of indie charm.
