This weekend, Fortnite players are in for a major boost, as Epic Games is rolling out a Supercharged XP event that makes leveling up significantly faster. While Fortnite has adjusted its Battle Pass progression system over the years, the core mechanic of earning XP has stayed consistent. Currently, advancing one account level requires 80,000 XP—a standard that has remained unchanged for the last few seasons.
How XP Progression Normally Works
During Weekly, Story, and Daily Bonus Goal Quests, progression feels quick and rewarding. But once these tasks are cleared, the XP flow slows down dramatically, forcing players to explore other avenues. Common alternatives include farming XP maps in Creative Mode, completing Save the World missions, or diving into less-played modes to clear side quests. However, over time, the daily XP cap and diminishing quest pool make it increasingly challenging to level up.

FNCS Global Championship Tie-In
To celebrate the FNCS Global Championship, Fortnite is running a Supercharged XP weekend until September 8 at 9 AM ET. The event is designed to encourage players to log in and catch the FNCS livestream at Legend’s Landing. Still, even those who skip the stream can rack up XP by simply playing their favorite modes or XP maps.
What Makes This Weekend Special
Traditionally, Supercharged XP covers around five levels of progression. This time, however, players can climb up to 200 levels—enough to fully complete the Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass and unlock every Super Style reward.

Why Players Shouldn’t Miss Out
For those still below level 100, this is the perfect chance to catch up. And for those who already completed the Battle Pass, the extra XP can be used to push through the Bonus Rewards section. With the Battle Pass running until November 1, this weekend offers a rare opportunity to stockpile progress and avoid the late-season grind.
