Fortnite players could soon see the return of Star Wars to the battle royale, as fresh leaks suggest a major live event is in development and set to launch before the end of Chapter 6 Season 4.
Fortnite is no stranger to blockbuster collaborations, with past crossovers reshaping everything from weapons to the in-game map. Over the years, the game has featured tie-ins with franchises like Dragon Ball Z, Futurama, and Deadpool, along with unique in-game tributes such as one for late rapper Juice WRLD. Now, the galaxy far, far away may once again collide with Fortnite’s universe.

Prominent Fortnite leaker Loolo recently claimed that Epic Games is preparing a new live event themed around Star Wars. The event is rumored to drop with the upcoming 37.50 update and will reportedly focus on new Star Wars content arriving for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). While no release date has been confirmed, the leak suggests it will not be the season’s grand finale event, hinting instead at a standalone experience.
Epic Games has a long history with the Star Wars franchise, having previously introduced over 30 skins featuring characters like Darth Vader, Rey, Kylo Ren, and Chewbacca. Lightsabers have also been added as limited-time melee weapons during past crossovers. Earlier this year, Epic teased that Star Wars-themed UEFN content was coming, even showcasing an AI-voiced Darth Vader to highlight the update’s possibilities.

Fortnite’s ongoing season has been packed with collaborations, with Power Rangers taking center stage through character skins and an in-game Megazord. Fans are also gearing up for the annual “Fortnitemares” event next month, which is rumored to feature crossovers with Scooby-Doo and Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees.
If the leaks hold true, Fortnite players may soon have another massive crossover to look forward to, with Star Wars once again bringing lightsabers, iconic characters, and galactic battles to the island.
