Epic Games is shaking up Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 by offering a major freebie: the UNSC Spartan from Halo. Unlike past seasons—where only accessories like gliders or emotes were available for free—this marks the first-ever free battle pass skin in Fortnite history.
How to Unlock the UNSC Spartan
To claim the Spartan skin without spending any money or V-Bucks, simply reach 100 levels during Chapter 6 Season 4. The season runs until November 1, 2025, giving players three months to complete the grind. Those who qualify will automatically receive the skin starting August 26, 2025.
Free Method: Reach Level 100 in the Shock ’N Awesome season before November 1, 2025. Players meeting the requirement will receive the skin starting August 26, 2025, even without the premium Battle Pass.
Instant Unlock: Purchase the Battle Pass for 1,000 V-Bucks or join the Fortnite Crew to get the blue variant right away, along with other rewards.
Why It’s Special
This is Fortnite’s second free collaboration skin in 2025, following Invincible’s Dupli-Kate. It builds on last season’s early Superman unlock, but with one key change: you don’t need to buy level bundles—just level up by playing.
While purchasing the battle pass still unlocks the Spartan instantly and grants access to other rewards like Power Ranger and Megazord skins, players can now earn the Halo crossover entirely for free through gameplay.
