Fans eager to dive into Terminator 2D: No Fate will have to be patient a little longer. The retro-style side-scrolling action game by Bitmap Bureau and Reef Entertainment has once again been delayed. Initially scheduled for release around Halloween, the title was later moved to late November due to tariff issues. Now, the developers have announced a new release date — December 12, 2025 — for both digital and physical editions.
In an update shared on Steam, Reef Entertainment confirmed that the discs are ready but the team needs additional time to finalize the physical copies. “We deeply apologize for the continued delays,” the company said. “We value your patience and want to ensure the game meets your expectations. We’re almost there and can’t wait for you to experience Terminator 2D: No Fate soon.”

The game reimagines Terminator 2: Judgment Day in a 2D format, allowing players to take on the roles of Sarah Connor, the T-800, and even an older John Connor during the future war against Skynet. The mission remains the same — protect John Connor from the relentless T-1000 and, if possible, stop Skynet from annihilating humanity.
