The much-anticipated co-op survival game Voidtrain is officially set to release its 1.0 version on November 7, with HypeTrain Digital confirming that it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Developed by HypeTrain Digital, Voidtrain offers a unique twist on the survival crafting genre. Players build and upgrade their train — a mobile base that travels through a surreal, interdimensional world known as The Void. Up to four players can team up to explore mysterious biomes, gather resources, craft equipment, battle enemies, and expand their traveling fortress as they move deeper into the unknown.
After spending over two years in early access, the full version of the game will introduce Chapter 3, which concludes the main storyline. Developers have teased new characters and an “emotional finale” to wrap up the narrative.

The announcement came during IGN Fan Fest 2025: Fall Edition, accompanied by a new gameplay trailer. Interestingly, the trailer listed Xbox and PC as launch platforms but excluded PlayStation 5 — even though Voidtrain had previously been confirmed for Sony’s console. The absence suggests the PS5 version may still be under development, as no official statement has been made regarding a delay or exclusivity agreement.
Since its early access debut, Voidtrain has earned over 3,000 “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam, with recent feedback trending toward “Very Positive.” Players have praised its creative mechanics, trading system, and replay value, though some have criticized its story and inventory management.
