Sony is gearing up for the release of its next major PlayStation 5 exclusive, Ghost of Yotei, which arrives on October 2. To mark the occasion, the company has unveiled a special lineup of limited-edition PS5 hardware and accessories inspired by the game’s traditional Japanese Sumi-e ink art style.
The collection includes two PS5 Slim bundles, each featuring custom faceplates and a matching DualSense controller. Players can choose between gold or black ink themes, both adorned with hand-painted-style illustrations of the Yotei region. While the gold version will be sold through PlayStation Direct and select online retailers, the black variant will be available exclusively from PlayStation Direct. Preorders open September 4 at 10 a.m.

The PS5 Slim Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition Bundle is priced at $600. It includes a disc-drive model console, themed faceplates, and the matching DualSense controller. Quantities are expected to be limited, so fans will need to move quickly once preorders go live.
For those who already own a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro, standalone faceplates will also launch for $65. Available in both black and gold designs, these covers feature off-white accents with ink brush illustrations and the game’s emblem etched in the corner. Options will be offered for both disc and digital models.
Additionally, Sony will release a standalone Ghost of Yotei Dual Sense Wireless Controller for $85. Both the black and gold versions showcase brushstroke patterns across the grips and a silhouette of the game’s protagonist, Atsu, on the touchpad.

Preorders of any edition include exclusive in-game bonuses and PSN avatars.
