EA has officially revealed the global release schedule for Battlefield 6, confirming that the highly anticipated military shooter will launch simultaneously for all players on October 10, with no early access period.
According to the schedule shared by Battlefield Bulletin, the worldwide rollout begins at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET / 4 PM BST) on October 10, ensuring a synchronized launch across all regions. Preloading has also gone live starting today, October 3, allowing players to prepare ahead of release—though those purchasing through the Epic Games Store will not have access to preloads.
Battlefield 6 marks EA’s first major title following the company’s announcement of a $55 billion acquisition deal involving Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners, and private equity firm Silver Lake.

The upcoming release is particularly significant as it’s the franchise’s first new entry since Battlefield 2042 (2021), which received a mixed response from fans. Early reactions to Battlefield 6 have been more optimistic, though analysts believe the title may still face tough competition against Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, set to launch later this year.
EA has been leaning into the rivalry with playful marketing—most recently through a live-action trailer that takes lighthearted jabs at Call of Duty.
