Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is shaping up to be even bigger this year, if recent leaks are to be believed.
Last year’s edition saw the item shop flooded with collaborations, with new crossover skins dropping almost every other day throughout October. For 2025, players can reportedly expect an even busier lineup, with long-speculated tie-ins involving Scream, Friday the 13th, and Scooby-Doo said to be on the horizon.
Adding to the mix, a new rumor points to a crossover with KPop Demon Hunters. According to well-known Fortnite leaker HypeX, this will be “the main Halloween collab” and could extend beyond cosmetic skins. While details remain unclear, the suggestion that it won’t be limited to character outfits hints at potential new gameplay mechanics, such as themed weapons or items.

Other Collaborations
If accurate, the KPop Demon Hunters event would join other rumored additions, including Ghostface’s mythic knife and a Jason Voorhees medallion, raising expectations that the collaboration could be one of Fortnitemares’ most immersive yet.
The timing may also tie into the next season of Fortnite Festival, which begins October 9. There is speculation that HUNTR/X could serve as headliners, despite Epic Games previously signaling the season would highlight original Fortnite content. Insiders suggest the company could pivot to accommodate a major crossover tied to the record-breaking Netflix release.
