Epic Games has launched a major Fortnite crossover with KPop Demon Hunters, introducing a mix of premium cosmetics and free unlockable rewards. The event not only delivers stylish character skins but also reintroduces the popular Horde Rush mode in a new “Demon Rush” variant.
How to get the skins and rewards
In the item shop, players can purchase skins of the HUNTR/X trio—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Each skin is priced at 1,500 V-Bucks and comes with themed accessories such as a unique pickaxe and a ramyeon-inspired back bling. For those looking to grab the full collection, Epic has bundled the entire set, including Zoey’s “Thumbs Up” emote, at a discounted 3,500 V-Bucks.
While premium skins are a highlight, the collaboration also provides free cosmetics that can be earned through gameplay.
Rewards
Two rewards are tied to account progression
- Reaching 4 levels within the event period grants the Special Ramyeon emoticon,
- Reaching 8 levels to unlocks the HUNTR/X Unite loading screen.
Players can level up faster by tackling the limited-time event quests that revolve around the new loot items.

These special items include Rumi’s Sword, which combines melee and ranged attacks; Zoey’s Bubble Shield that doubles as a musical zone; Mira’s X-Tra Spicy Ramyeon for instant health, shields, and speed boosts; and Tiger’s Teleporting Mask, a reimagined version of the Void Mask allowing instant portal-based travel. Each item has dedicated quests awarding 10,000 XP, helping players progress toward free rewards more efficiently.
For deeper rewards, fans will need to dive into the Demon Rush mode. This co-op experience pits squads against waves of monsters and bosses while incorporating the KPop Demon Hunters’ abilities. Completing four Demon Rush quests unlocks a banner icon, eight quests reward the Playful Derpy emoticon, and finishing twelve grants the exclusive HUNTR/X spray.

Currently, only a handful of Demon Rush challenges are available, with more rolling out weekly until November 1, when the Fortnitemares 2025 event concludes. Early quests include destroying demon spawners with explosives, upgrading weapons, selecting in-match perks, and tackling the Peely boss at higher difficulties.
Between premium bundles, progression-based unlocks, and Demon Rush challenges, Fortnite’s KPop Demon Hunters event ensures players have plenty of content and rewards to chase this Halloween season.
