Sony has officially revealed the four titles set to exit PlayStation Plus in October 2025, giving subscribers a limited window to play them before they are removed. PlayStation Plus regularly updates its library each month, cycling out older games while introducing fresh content for Extra and Premium members.

The service’s Premium tier continues to attract players with access to a rotating catalog of classic PlayStation, PS2, and PSP games. This month’s lineup leans into the Halloween spirit, featuring several indie horror titles. Highlights include Conscript and Crow Country, the latter inspired by retro horror classics such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil. In Crow Country, players step into the shoes of investigator Mara Forest as she explores an eerie abandoned theme park. Other noteworthy September additions include Persona 5 Tactica, The Invincible, and WWE 2K25.

Games Leaving PS Plus on October 21, 2025:

Battlefield 1 (PS4)

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (PS4, PS5)

Tour de France 2023 (PS4, PS5)

The Last Clockwinder (PS VR2)

The departures are part of Sony’s monthly refresh process. Battlefield 1, a fan-favorite shooter from 2016, will make way for Battlefield 6, launching October 10. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed — an asymmetrical multiplayer game — may see a brief surge in popularity with Halloween approaching. Cycling enthusiasts may want to try Tour de France 2023 before it’s gone, while VR owners can still experience the award-nominated puzzle game The Last Clockwinder before its removal.

September’s update already saw several titles leave the service, including Road 96, UFC 5, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, Pistol Whip, and the fan-favorite The Plucky Squire, which debuted in 2024 and follows a group of storybook characters discovering a 3D world beyond the page.

In related news, Sony has rolled out a new PS5 system update. The patch allows DualSense controllers to connect to multiple devices simultaneously and introduces a new “Power Saver” mode designed to cut down the console’s energy consumption.
