PlayStation Plus subscribers have a limited-time opportunity to grab Diablo 4 for free, along with two other titles — The King of Fighters 15 and Jusant. These games are available at no extra cost to all PlayStation Plus members, regardless of subscription tier, until August 5 at 9 AM PT. After this deadline, they will no longer be part of the free lineup and will need to be purchased separately, even by new subscribers.
This giveaway is part of PlayStation Plus’ 15th anniversary celebration, which featured a month-long rollout of free games for members. Among them, Diablo 4, Blizzard’s action RPG that debuted in 2023, is one of the biggest titles. The game allows players to enjoy cross-platform progression and cross-play, meaning characters created on PC or Xbox can be carried over and continued on PlayStation — a major perk for fans already invested in the series.
Once claimed, the base version of Diablo 4 will remain accessible indefinitely, as long as your PlayStation Plus membership remains active. However, it’s important to note that this free version only includes the base game. If players want to explore the new Spiritborn class or access other additional content, they’ll need to purchase the Vessel of Hatred expansion separately. The expansion costs $40, which is still cheaper than buying the base game and expansion together at retail price.
In addition to Diablo 4, players can also claim The King of Fighters 15, which includes the Classic Leona costume, and Jusant, a unique indie climbing adventure released in 2023.
After August 5, a new lineup will take over: Lies of P, a challenging soulslike based on the story of Pinocchio; DayZ, the gritty zombie survival sim; and My Hero One’s Justice 2, an anime fighter based on My Hero Academia. By subscribing now, players can add all six games — the three current ones and the upcoming trio — to their library at no additional cost.
