Capcom is once again bringing two of its biggest franchises together. This time, the action takes place inside Street Fighter 6, which will host a month-long crossover with Monster Hunter Wilds starting September 1. The event will pack in themed cosmetics, in-game events, and special rewards for fans of both series.
This isn’t the first time the two universes have collided. Earlier in May, Monster Hunter Wilds players were able to fight as Akuma through free DLC that introduced fist-based combat against giant beasts. Chun-Li and Cammy also made an appearance as premium DLC fighters, marking the beginning of Capcom’s experiment with crossover content.

What’s Included in the New Event
Capcom has detailed the lineup of features and rewards coming to Street Fighter 6 during this Monster Hunter-themed celebration:
- Five new EX colors inspired by iconic Monster Hunter creatures for Blanka, Akuma, Manon, Cammy, and Ken.
- Battle Hub voting event (September 1–15), letting players choose between the White Wraith and Demon, unlocking weapon accessories, new titles, and emotes.
- Free login rewards including a challenger screen effect, Quest Start sound effect, 10 stickers, and two wallpapers.
- Monster Hunter-style Battle Hub décor, with photo spots featuring Rathalos and Rathian.
- Themed Fighting Pass, offering avatar gear, emotes, and titles.
- New avatar gear in The Shop, such as Rathalos and Felyne color sets.

Battle Hub Voting and Exclusive Rewards
The Battle Hub will be the centerpiece of this collaboration. Players can vote on which creature reigns supreme—the White Wraith or the Demon—to unlock exclusive prizes. Rewards include weapon skins like the Hope Blade, seven special titles such as Mmm, so tasty!, and two new emotes: Hunter’s Applause and Hunter Hula.
While the event is packed with cosmetic items, Capcom hasn’t confirmed how much the EX colors or new avatar gear will cost. Street Fighter fans previously criticized the high price of TMNT skins at $15 each, so all eyes are on how Capcom handles pricing this time. Unlike the TMNT crossover, however, the Monster Hunter skins alter the fighters themselves—making them potentially more appealing to players willing to spend.

This announcement comes shortly after Street Fighter 6’s collaboration with K-pop group Aespa, which added a new Juri outfit to the game. That crossover drew attention to Juri having the most costumes in the roster. With this Monster Hunter event, Capcom is spreading the spotlight to other fighters like Blanka, Ken, and Manon, giving players more variety in customization.
