EA may have just revealed Battlefield 6’s release date. Here’s what we know

Battlefield 6 may be launching sooner than expected, thanks to a hidden clue on EA’s website. A legal disclaimer suggests an October 2025 release, just days after the official trailer dropped. Here’s what we know about the editions, gameplay, platforms, and pricing.

Electronic Arts released the trailer of Battlefield 6 earlier this week but without announcing any release date. However, the game maker might have inadvertantly revealed the release date in the process.

According to reports, the release date is hidden in the legal fine print on EA’s website. A disclaimer on EA’s site mentions that the “Pre-Sell Offer” for the Standard Edition of Battlefield 6 ends on October 10, 2025, with availability lasting until October 10, 2027. While not an explicit release date, the timing strongly suggests an early October launch. Based on past Battlefield rollouts, October 10 or 11 is now widely speculated as the likely launch window.

What to expect from new game
The trailer confirms Battlefield 6 is returning to its roots with large-scale multiplayer warfare and enhanced destruction mechanics — two of the franchise’s signature elements. Players will also be able to choose between class-specific loadouts or fully customizable gear.

Unlike Battlefield 2042, this entry brings back a single-player campaign, offering a narrative experience for those who prefer solo gameplay.

According to a well-known leaker, Battlefield 6 will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with no support for last-gen consoles. The game will come in two versions:

Standard Edition – $79.99

Phantom Edition – $109.99

The PC version is expected to be $10 cheaper than its console counterparts.

Pre-Orders and Wishlist Availability
Pre-orders are expected to go live following the multiplayer reveal event on July 31. In the meantime, players can already add the game to their wishlists on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Battlefield 6 is set to launch within EA’s 2026 fiscal year, and if this leak is accurate, fans won’t have to wait much longer. With next-gen exclusivity and a renewed focus on both multiplayer and campaign storytelling, EA appears to be aiming for a full-fledged comeback.
