The latest Minecraft Bedrock beta and preview update (1.21.110.20) is now available across all major platforms—Xbox One and Series X/S, Windows 10/11, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4/5—bringing new content, gameplay features, accessibility improvements, and bug fixes.
How to Download the Update
Xbox One and Series X/S
Open your game library and search for “Minecraft Preview.”
Select it and tap “Install.”
Once installed, launch to access new features.
Windows 10/11
Existing Users: Open Microsoft Store ? Find Minecraft Preview ? Click “Update.”
New Install: Use the Minecraft Launcher ? Select Bedrock Edition ? Click the dropdown next to “Play” ? Choose “Latest Preview.”
Android
Open Google Play Store ? Search for Minecraft ? Scroll to “Join the Beta” ? Opt in to download and play the beta.
iOS
Download TestFlight and sign up for the Minecraft beta.
You’ll receive a link via email to install the preview (availability depends on open beta slots).
PlayStation 4/5
Launch Minecraft ? Open sidebar ? Select “Preview” ? Tap “Get PS4/PS5 Preview” ? Hit “Download.”
Key New Features
Copper Golem and Statue Block
Copper Golems now oxidize into statues with random poses.
You can interact with them to change poses or revert them back using an axe.
Each pose emits a unique Redstone signal when connected to a comparator, offering creative redstone contraptions.
Shelf Block
Decorative shelves in 12 wood variants can store up to 3 visible items.
Interact to swap items with your hotbar.
Redstone-powered shelves can connect and quickly rotate multiple items in and out of your inventory.

Game drop features no longer require experimental toggles and are now enabled by default in regular worlds.

Updated icons for dye colors improve clarity and colorblind accessibility.
