Nintendo has announced a special Direct presentation dedicated to Kirby Air Riders, scheduled for tomorrow. Hosted by series creator and game director Masahiro Sakurai, the showcase promises an “in-depth look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game.”

The livestream will run for about 45 minutes—making it longer than the combined runtime of the last two Directs—and will air on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel starting at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST.

This will be the third Nintendo Direct in the past month, following April’s event that first revealed Kirby Air Riders alongside other Switch 2 titles. At that time, Nintendo only shared a pre-rendered trailer, leaving fans eager for gameplay details. Tomorrow’s presentation is expected to fill in those gaps, offering the most substantial update yet.

Nintendo has been experimenting with its showcase format since the full unveiling of the Switch 2. Instead of sticking to traditional Directs, the company released a Partner Showcase in July—highlighting Monster Hunter Stories, Katamari, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment—followed by an Indie World Showcase earlier this month, which spotlighted upcoming indie releases.

Tomorrow’s Kirby-focused Direct, however, signals a return to a more classic format, with all eyes on one of the Switch 2’s most anticipated first-party titles.
